Welcome to our Freedom of Information web page.   This page provides information on the classes of information which we hold and make available, how this will be made available and any charges which may be made for accessing information.

On this page you will find information which we make available in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000, which allows members of the public to access Trust documents.  This relates to any information about our business activities, including environmental information.   Any information which can be accessed on this site can be accessed free of charge.
We have identified below the classes of information which we make available.  Where possible, we will publish the information on this site, but if you are looking for a particular piece of information but cannot find it here, please use the link below to contact us and we will do our best to help.

Who we are and what we do
this includes our organisational information, Trust locations and contact points plus our constitutional and legal governance requirements

What we spend and how we spend it
financial information relating to projected and actual income and expenditure, tendering, procurement and contracts

What our priorities are, and how we are doing  
this includes our strategy and performance information, plans, assessments, inspections and reviews

How we make decisions
our policy proposals and decisions; decision making processes, internal criteria and procedures, consultations

Our policies and procedures

Lists and registers 
information which is held in registers required by law and other lists and registers relating to the functions of the Trust

The services we offer 
advice and guidance, booklets and leaflets, transactions and media releases; a description of the services offered

How can I see this information?
The site is reviewed regularly and new information will be added all the time and so please check on this site for information which you require. If you cannot find the information you are seeking on this site, please apply in writing either by using the e-mail link below or write to the address given below.

Information which we hold that is not published under this scheme should be requested in writing (using the link and details below) when its provision will be considered in accordance with the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act.

The Trust will consider any special requests, e.g. providing hard copies, although there may be a charge for doing so. If you have a special request, you will be advised of any fees applicable before the information is provided to you.

The Trust will endeavour to meet all special needs requests. If you need help interpreting this website or our information leaflets in another language, require information in large print, or need help or advice with any other needs you might have, please use the link below of this page to contact us.

In exceptional circumstances some information may be available only by viewing in person.  Where this is the best way, contact details will be provided and an appointment will be arranged within reasonable timescales.

Charges
By publishing information in this way, we aim to make information available to the public at minimum inconvenience and cost.  As highlighted previously, material which is published and accessed on a website will be provided free of charge.

Charges may be made for actual disbursements incurred such as:
  • photocopying

  • postage and packaging

  • costs directly incurred as a result of viewing information

If a charge is to be made, confirmation of the payment due will be given before the information is provided.  Payment may be requested prior to provision of the information. 
The classes of information will not generally include:

  • information where disclosure is prevented by law, or exempt under the Freedom of Information Act, or is otherwise properly considered to be protected from disclosure

  • information in draft form

  • information that is no longer readily available as it is contained in files that have been placed in archive storage, or is difficult to access for similar reasons
